The
new building is financed under a 15-year contract for
deed. Careful financial management has allowed Feline
Rescue to make a substantial down payment on the $460,000
purchase price. The balance is being paid in monthly
installments that include principal and 7% interest
per annum.
At
the end of 15 years the building will be paid for in
full. A portion of the capital campaign proceeds will
be used to prepay the principal, thereby reducing interest
expense.
