Alumni News

Feline Rescue thinks the best way for you to get a feel for the work of the organization and it’s many dedicated volunteers is by letting our adopters (and their cats!) tell their own success stories.  Check back often as we've got many kitties to brag about :).  Click here to see more alumni stories.

Today we hear from Andrea, who adopted Davey (now Stinson) nearly 10 years ago!!

Davey!

This is an update 10 years in the making ... In September of 2003 I adopted a cat named "Davey" at an adoption event at the shelter.  He now goes by Stinson, and he has brought happiness to me and his best people buddy, Nick, ever since. He has two cat brothers, Mr. Cat and Murray, and he is one of the sweetest cats I've ever met.  He is very talkative and affectionate. He will cuddle up with anyone, but in particular he likes Nick. … He loves playing with bouncy balls and lounging in the cat tree where he gets a great view out of the window. We love this little guy!

Davey!

I meant to give an update at some point, but I figured better late than never.  Thanks for all of the great work that you do!

Latest news from the Feline Rescue Cat Tales blog

  • WARNING: Baby Kitten Cuteness Alert!!
    UPDATE FROM FOSTER MOM:
All the kittens and Mama Tehya are doing just great. My little black kitten hit 10oz. today and Baby Dot gained a whopping 0.7oz. from yesterday to today! I am very pleased that they are all thriving.

Oh, and Baby Sage's eyes are just starting to open a tiny bit today. Once Sage's eyes are open, then all the kittens will have their peepers wide open.

The first pic is Baby Sugar, that kitten is ALWAYS snuggling by Tehya's face.

The 4th & 5th photos are Baby Cream, that kitten is a love bug and always wants us to tickle its tummy!

I was able to capture Mama Tehya's look of concern that she bears every night as I weigh the kittens in pic 6. She always looks on like that...as if she can read the scale! She is patient and calm as I handle the kittens to weigh them, but she does seem interested to know the numbers :)
